C-Shift early morning fire @ 205 Willard ave. Upon arrival, T-6 encountered heavy smoke and fire in the rear of the dwelling. T-6 crew step-up OIC/PM Kris Kempf & FF/PM Jason Stamper made intial entry w/o a handline to search for reported entrapement and quickly backed out upon negative search and deteriating conditions. A 2nd alarm was sounded for more manpower support. Thanks to surrounding dept.s MEFD, OCW, OIFD for their assistance.

An official report as follows:
Bat-6, T-6, E-4, E-3, I-6, E-11 & DC-6 reponded to a 911 of a dwelling fire. While responding Bat-6 reported heavy smoke a block away. Upon arrival, heavy white smoke from both ends of the eves was showing. T-6 first due pulled a handline to the front door, E-3 caught a hydrant & supplied T-6. T-4 & E-11 were assigned RIC duties while DC-6 took accountability. Fire conditions worsened quickly with heavy black smoke throughout the interior and fire now showing from the rear. A 2nd alarm was sounded while T-6 crew abandoned the building just prior to the living area flashing over. The tenant later came to the command post & advised all occupants had escaped prior to FD's arrival.
