09.21.2007 Vo Tech shed fire
E-7, E-1, E-2, E-3, C-1,& Bat-6 all responded to a structure fire at the Vo-Tech school complex behind
FD St-7. Upon pulling out of the station E-7 noticed heavy black smoke from the rear of the complex. Upon arrival, a greeenhouse/shed
next to one of the class buildings was fully involved and to make matters worse, E-7's closest position for attack was
on the other side of a 6ft chainlink fence. E-7 crew cut the fence for access and pulled a 2.5 handline for a quick knock
down. All the students were evacuated from the adjacent building, of which sustained minor vinyl siding damage. The greenhouse/shed
was a total loss, nobody was injured during this incident.
