Virgil May was born and raised in Destin Fl. where he grew up working on local fishing boats. He
is now 27 years old and is back in Destin after a few years in the Army where he served for 3 years in Alaska.
After that he moved to New Orleans and then back to good ole Destin. May attended the Fire Academy @ PJC in 2004 and
did a short stint @ Milton FD. Virgil was employed( and still is) by Destin Beach Service before he joined the ranks of FWBFD
Local 2601 in 2007. Virgil wants to attend Medic school in the next couple of years with hopes of a Company Officer position
someday. Virgil is married with two kids & lives in Destin.
