Firefighter Stone was born and raised in Fort Walton Beach. He is 32 years old and has
been with FWBFD for 7 years. He has been an EMT since 1999 and started out riding the box in what is now North Walton
Fire Rescue. Currently Stone is a relief driver and is pursuing his FO1 series with a goal of promoting to driver, and recieving
his degree in Fire science from OWC in the next couple of years. DJ also works for Walton County F/R & Niceville FD on
the C-Shift nights. His brother is Capt. Stone and his father retired out of OCWFCD as Assistant Chief with
over 20 years on the job. On his off days Stone works for North Walton FR. He is an avid surfer and musician(drums),
He is married, has two little girls, and now resides in Niceville Fl.
